Pictures here are hanging on a hanger. It won't fit on my dress form and I forgot to take pictures when I was trying it on. All I can say is thank goodness I picked this print, it hides everything. Sleeves go on tomorrow, then it hangs for a day then a hem.

Mmmm, nice. I didn't realize it was bias-cut so I went to Colette Patterns website to have a look. It's really cute. I can't imagine it would be easy sewing a slippery fabric that's been cut on the bias. Love the front ruching. Did you need to do a FBA?
No, actually no FBA. Colette are very generous in their bust. It was definitely a tedious job of cutting but the sewing wasn't quite as bad.
This dress is coming along beautifully. I actually have this pattern but haven't got around to it yet - I'm encouraged to hear that you didn't have to do an FBA - maybe I'll have to bring this one higher up on my list.
